The mixing and matching trend have taken over the fashion industry, it is no more about muted colors or patterns in accordance. And it’s just not about colors, designers are breaking the set rules of draping, styling, and matching, and it seems the era of fusing traditional with western wear has taken over the fashion industry! We take you through the hottest of the trends – fusion wear, taking over the fashion industry.
1. Not So Basic Kurtas:
The good old kurtas have been fused with some great styles and patterns, pairing them with a contrasting colored pair of leggings or pajamas were good old ways. Now pair your Kurtis with dhotis, or else add layers to a straight kurta with a long skirt. It is sure to add more dimension and edge to your look.
Kurtas matched with trousers and palazzos are in vogue and gives a chic appeal, also you don’t compromise your comfort. I have created a fusion, where you can also wear your kurta as a dress and with appropriate accessories you can rock it!
Drape it That Way:
Saree draping is an art and the kind of different draping ways fashion industry has seen over the period is amazing. One such quirky way has been trending these days, the dhoti style.
And why to limit it just to sarees, your good old scarves and stoles are can also be draped like saree to add an edgy appeal to your look. Another fusion look I created by draping a heavy dupatta as saree over black jeans. A post for this look will be up on the blog soon!
3. Skirt Effect:
Skirts have taken a plunge from wearing it just the old way to styling it with a different bodice. The trending one is with pretty crop tops, jackets, and kurtas.
Full-length skirt with a crop top is a trendy and comfortable affair, nothing too loud and nothing too low, just sheer vogue in comfort! Here I have teamed up palazzos with a tank top, added junk jewelry and carried an ethnic clutch.lehen
4. Jacket Up!
Jackets over your kurta, spaghetti top, tank top or blouses they are just everywhere. Not just the leather or denim ones but of all. The bright and embellished jackets can be best paired with muted colored dresses; the good old leather and denim jackets can also be layered over your regular outfits.
5. Traditionally Dressed!
So, when we say traditionally dressed it doesn’t mean all that heavy dose of lehenga-chunni but the Anarkali Dresses, as they are popularly called as. Beautiful long dresses with an ample lot of embellishment and work that sets you apart from the regular crowd.
In the end, you can have a look over fusion wear sported by celebs!
