How to conceive fast – Get pregnant faster

get pregnant fast

This topic might sound little lame to you but trust me this will help women who are planning to start their family. As per science and looking at the crazy busy schedule of working females it is said that woman’s best reproductive years are in her 20s. Fertility gradually declines in the 30s, particularly after age 35.

As per what we learnt in our 10th class biology chapter getting pregnant might sound like you can get pregnant any time you have sex. But in reality, it’s a little more complicated.

The first and foremost step is the readiness of your mind. Prioritize what’s more important for you right now, considering your age, health, relationship with partner, career, etc. If you’re anxious to get pregnant, there are a few steps you can take to make “trying” more effective:

1. The readiness of body:

Once you’ve made up your mind, prioritized everything and came to the conclusion of starting a family, next thing and now the most important thing would be to take care of your body that’s going to carry life for you. You need to keep a check on your body weight and maintain an active lifestyle. Watch out what you are eating, cut down on caffeine intake, get to a healthy weight, stop smoking, and drinking.

2. Consult an experienced gynecologist for preconception check-up:

Instead of trying and waiting for years I would suggest you go and meet a good gynecologist, prefer someone in a friend circle, or through a reference. Do not hesitate in telling your doctor about your family plan and she might recommend some prenatal vitamins that have folic acid, which helps protect against some birth defects. Folic acid works during the early stages of pregnancy, so that’s why it’s important to make sure you’re getting enough folic acid even before you get pregnant.

3. Keep a check on your periods and ovulation dates:

I use Clue app to track my periods. If memorizing the dates is not your thing then switch to some period tracker app. You can find many in the play store and AppStore, trust me ‘free’ version of most of the app is sufficient for you. This way you can see the history of your cycle and know your ovulation dates. You should start trying from the 10th day after you get your periods for at least 4 to 5 days. These are your highest ovulation dates. If you are still not sure about your ovulation dates then you can find ovulation tracker kits on Amazon and start tracking it on them. They are very easy to use and help you find out your ovulation dates.

4. Stay in bed right after intercourse:

You must have seen the movie Good Newwz and must be thinking that you have to have your feet in the air for fast fertilization but as per science, it is not completely true. You should actually stay in bed for 10 to 15 minutes after intercourse, don’t go to the bathroom during this time either. This small step will allow sperm to reach the cervix.

5. Do not take stress

You might be thinking that you are relaxed and free from stress but thinking too much about conceiving, cramps, or in fact about your regular work is also a kind of stress. You should find ways to de-stress yourself. Whatever helps you de-stress is fine, as long as it’s healthy. Just relax and let things happen on their own.

These steps have been helpful for me when I was planning to start my family and I am sure they will turn positive for you also. Share your opinion also with us and we will include it in the post.
