It’s 29th March and looking at the heat you can say “Hello” to summers. Heat can cause damage to your skin and you must be googling “How to protect your skin in summers”. Based on personal experience I have listed down 5 summer skin care tips which will help you protect your skin in summers.
Hydrate yourself:
High temperature will leave your skin dehydrated. Heat will take away your body fluids leaving you feel tired and dehydrated. It gets necessary to drink at least 8 bottles of water and maintaining the hydration level. If you are hydrated enough then your skin will also look good.

Exfoliation removes dead, dulling skin debris to prevent congestion and improve hydration from toners and moisturizers. After you exfoliate, follow with a hydrating body cream to seal in moisture, and always shield freshly exfoliated skin with an SPF.
Use a toner:
A skin toner will keep the pores closed and keep the skin cool. You can try rose water as its natural cooling properties are excellent for summer. You can opt for Dabur Gulabari or Patanjali one. There are lot many brands available in the market.
When in doubt, apply (and reapply!)
Sunscreen provides you protection only for 4 hours. Reapplication is required whenever you are moving out. Depending on your skin opt for a gel or water based sunscreen lotion and don’t forget to reapply it.
5. Protect your skin:
Don’t forget to carry an umbrella or a cotton scarf whenever you are moving out. Cover yourself while stepping out and this will help to protect you from harsh light.
