I am starting this series by introducing a superbly talented girl, Mahwash(म ह व् श ) Sheeki who runs Sheek Designs, whom I met while I was working in Blogmint; an influencer marketing company. We have spent very less time together but in spite of this, I had a hint that this girl is different from the lot. For her 30 days meant 30 different outfits recreated from basic pieces and by adding a touch of accessories.
She is a Ph.D. scholar and also works as an interior stylist who has given amazing makeovers to homes in Delhi-NCR. To pursue her passion she left the corporate job and started her company Sheek Designs. I am featuring one of the amazing make-over done by her here and will get the idea how she put her heart into designing every minute details of the space provided.
She did not let her study or job come in between her passion, that’s the reason I am featuring her in my #WomenInMyCircle series so that others can take inspiration from her, here is a small interview with her:
How would you describe yourself to my audience:
A Dreamer who believes in a goal to make an income while making an impact
How did you start this business and turn your hobby into the profession?
I just stopped hoping & started working towards my passion, every single day. And stayed committed to it.
What made you start this? What was the turning point?
I wanted to work with a sincere purpose. Expressing myself through my craft and contributing with what little I am able to do for others gave me that and a lot of contentment.
