Will it be better than Maybelline Fit me concealer or will it go with my brown skin tone, I had so many questions in my mind when I saw this concealer on a shopping site. I received the product and after trying it out for a good number of days, here’s my review of Lakme absolute mattreal mousse concealer:
What the product looks like:
This comes in this black bottle which looks every appealing and high end and it has thick mousse-like consistency. This concealer is available in 6 shades; Sand, Caramel, Natural, Toffee, Honey and walnut. My shade is honey.
What it claims:
Product claims that it offers a matte finish which delivers medium to high coverage with a smooth matte finish. It helps minimize the appearance of dark spots, pores, and imperfections and it evens skin tone
Lakme Absolute Mattereal Mousse Concealer, Natural, 9 g
Pros:
- Mousse-like consistency absorbs well in the skin and gives a smooth feeling
- Perfect shade as per my skin tone ( I have brown skin with yellow undertone)
- Gives blurring effect
- Hides imperfection perfectly
Cons:
- Black opaque bottle! a transparent or translucent packaging would have allowed to see the quantity of the product
- Stays up to good 4-5 hours, long wear would have been preferable
Price: Rs 600 for 9 g
My Take
It blends well with the skin tone and it can be applied alone on the problem areas to hide them. Provides smooth finish and does give a blurring effect. I really like this product because it blends so perfectly in my skin and hides all the dark patches. If budget is not the concern then you can very well go for this otherwise you can check out Maybelling or Sugar.
