Review: Revlon One Step Hair Dryer and Volumizer

revlon one step hair dryer and volumizer

Those who know me personally know that I have got thick hair and for me managing my hair after the shampoo is a very tedious job which I hate doing especially in winters. I already had a Philips dryer and straightener but it takes lot of time to manage my hair with that.

My search for a perfect styler ended on YouTube when I saw a video by Milabu, she is an American YouTuber who does beauty and hair tutorials on her channel. She did a detailed review for Revlon one step hair dryer and volumizer. I made up my mind to buy this product but this isn’t available in India.

I asked my friend to pick this up during Black Friday sale in US and bring it here on her return.

Price:

I got this for $49 and to convert the voltage, I bought a Volt converter from Nehru Place for INR 700. Whereas the actual price of this product is $74.99 on Amazon.com and INR10,426 on Amazon.in

My hair type:

I have quite thick and dense hair and after shampoo, my hair goes haywire. I needed a good styler to make my hair look manageable

You can clearly see how good this product is 🙂

How is the performance or Pros

  • It works wonders and gives smooth blowouts in 15-20 mins
  • It is an oval-shaped heavy brush having nylon as well as boar bristles
  • 2 Heat/Speed Settings for styling flexibility with a cool option
  • Comes with ionic technology which makes smooth and shinier hair while reducing frizz and static

Cons:
  • This product is specifically designed for 120V ( India has 240V outlets)
  • On long usage, I can sense unpleasant burnt hair smell but to my surprise hair weren’t burnt

My Take:

I am very happy with my Revlon one step hair dryer and volumizer, it takes just 20 mins for me to style my hair. This product is a dupe for Dyson hair styler and if you are residing in the US or Canada then you must buy this product. If you are in India then I would suggest you look for local products like Philips Hair Straightener brush or Babyliss one which comes with a valid warranty and can be repaired here.
