If you are a gym-goer who is looking to gain some muscles or if you are willing to lose some weight then you should definitely look at your protein intake.

Protein is the muscle-building unit. Protein is an important component of every cell in the body. Your body uses protein to build and repair tissues. You also use protein to make enzymes, hormones, and other body chemicals.  In layman’s terms, protein keeps you fuller for long hours.

My weight got stuck to a certain number and after that, it wasn’t just dropping so I consulted Deepika Lalwani and she suggested me to try out protein smoothie as one of the meal to break the plateau. I have heard about Oziva and was planning to buy that, but she recommended me to try out Supplecent protein. Supplecent is a natural protein.

If you look at their website then you will see that it is clearly mentioned that not all proteins work for everyone. From corporate professionals to fitness enthusiasts, every body’s need is different. Keeping that into consideration they have got 3 varieties which are meant for Indian body

  1. Isocent: 100% Whey protein isolates, it is recommended for extreme athletic goals and weight loss. 33 g of Isocent offers up to 30.0 g protein
  2. Maxocent: Premium whey protein blend, it is meant for casual fitness enthusiasts to complete their protein intake. I ordered this one. 33 g of Maxocent gives up to 26 g of protein
  3. Peacent: 100% pea protein isolates, this is for vegan and lactose-intolerant people who lead a sustainable lifestyle. it’s nutritional value is same as Isocent

How to order?

I ordered a small pack of Maxocent directly from the website and within 2 days I got the packet from Mumbai to Noida. As a first time user, you get a discount also so you can try out this one. The trial pack of Maxocent protein costed me Rs. 479 after applying the discount.

What does it taste like?

Supplecent Maxocent comes in 3 flavours – Chocolate Blast, Vanilla Essence and Natural unflavoured. I ordered vanilla one because it can get easily blended into the smoothies without causing any change in taste.

Vanilla does taste better when it comes to making apple milk or oats smoothie or green smoothie.

How to use it?

I have been making green smoothie, apple-oats smoothies using this protein powder. For the green smoothie, I blanched some spinach and methi leaves, added it to the blender and on top of that, I added half apple, fistful of grapes, 2 dates, milk and a scoop of Supplecent Maxocent protein powder. Give it a good blend and it is good to go.

I had this in my breakfast, and trust me in just 1 week I saw the difference on the weighing scale. This keeps me full till lunch so while I was having this smoothie in the breakfast I did not crave for my 11 am snacks or tea so it created a calorie deficit for me which resulted in weight loss.

My Take:

I have liked the taste. My trial pack is almost over so I am about to place my next order on their website. These are high-quality whey isolates that are easy to digest and get absorbed quickly by the body. One good thing about Supplecent Maxocent is that it comes in a trial pack. Which makes it easy to try out by spending a little amount compared to buying a 1 kg whey protein. I definitely recommend it. You can use code ‘EXTRA20’ to get 20% off on your first order.
